www.Dawghouse.co beginning to materialize!
Dawghouse Travel is really beginning to take shape with the announcement of some major acquisitions. After a phenomenal week last week, we acquired the rights to book trips to 2 Japanese mountain resorts. One is located in Hanazono named the Freedom Inn, while the other is located in Nagano, and is named the Bears Den Mountain Lodge! Both are exquisite accommodation with a full knowledge of the local faire as well as the mountain terrain. Which by the way rivals Utah for depth and water content when it comes to their snow!
We are also pleased to announce that we will be booking trips here in the states for Skeena Heliskiing!
Skeena Heliskiing was founded in 2004 and is now the 2nd largest Heliskiing mountain range in North America with over 8,500 km2.
The Skeena Mountain range has a huge diversity of terrain, from the high vertical slopes with extreme steeps to powder bowls with pillows and shoots as well as sweeping glades and an abundance of tree skiing providing more Heliskiing opportunities during bad weather periods. Through Skeena’s geographical location and diversity of terrain, we consistently enjoy one of the lowest number of down days in the industry. So our clients ski more.
We are located only 3 hours from Vancouver and 4 hours Calgary! Flights are available from Vancouver or Calgary International Airports directly into Smithers. From here you are collected by our shuttle for the 1½ hr drive to our exclusive world class lodge.
Our lodge offers our clients an unparalleled quality of accommodation and is only 6 minutes by helicopter to your first runs. We have chosen to use B2 or B3 helicopters as they allow us to access the best of our terrain in almost all conditions and better cater for our smaller groups.
We only employ UIAGM or ACMG certified and highly experienced guides as they are there to ensure your safety whilst leading your group.
We look forward to welcoming you (back!) to Skeena for some great skiing.
"So remember, anyone can go on vacation, but with Powderdawgz your going on an adventure"!

Powderdawgz is proud to announce we will be booking trips for another Japanese ski destination named Bears Den Mountain Lodge! For more info contact us at 888-POWDAWG! Below is a small bio of the Bears Den Logde's owners!
Owners Tim & Lesley Heuchan come from Perth, West Australia, a long way from any mountains. So it was only a natural progression to become mountain lovers.
We have both travelled extensively over the years with multiple trips to Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the US in search of quality snow, big mountains, and more recently a place to settle and raise our new addition, our daughter Riley.
Japan is an amazing place to visit, even without the mountains! The beautiful people and their culture, incredible history and architecture, breathtaking scenery and of course the food, but apart from all that it's this Magical Valley that brings us here.
Endless terrain of jagged peaks, epic amounts of snow, plenty of sunny days, long seasons and very few people! We hope we can share our local knowledge and good times.

Hanazono!
Hanazono is part of the Niseki Mountain in Northern Japan. It is the second snowiest resort in the world and boasts an 8% water composition. That's Utah dry and fluffy like snow! WooHoo!
Powdawgz is now the official booking agent for The Freedon Inn at Hanazono. For more information call us at 888-POWDAWG!
Hanazono Ski area - Hanazono Ski resort
The Hanazono area is part of Grand Hirafu and thanks to its North/East aspect delivers amazing powder snow. The area borders on vast acres of the deepest snow you will ever find and there are several gates giving access to this “powder haven”. The Hanazono restaurant at the base of the mountain is extremely popular, particularly for its famous “Crab Ramen” dish - a must try sensory delight for Japanese food afficionados. Whether tearing round the snowfields on a snowmobile, horseback riding through the woods or taking up the challenge of the famous Quiksilver Terrain Park and Halfpipe. Hanazono has something for every winter enthusiast.
